Serve Robotics (SERV) has reached a major operational milestone in the U.S. autonomous delivery market. The company said it deployed more than 2,000 sidewalk delivery robots, meeting its 2025 goal ahead of schedule and within budget.

The California-based company said the fleet now operates across seven U.S. markets. It described the deployment as the largest sidewalk delivery fleet in the country. Additional rollouts are planned for early 2026.

Serve Robotics was spun out of Uber in 2021. It designs and operates AI-powered delivery robots focused on last-mile food and convenience delivery. Its robots currently support Uber Eats and 7-Eleven, with newer partnerships that include DoorDash.

The company said its robots have completed well over 100,000 deliveries. It also reported a 99.8% delivery completion rate and 66% sequential volume growth in the third quarter.

Serve shares have fallen about 20% year to date in 2025. The stock recently traded around $10 to $11, near its 50-day and 200-day moving averages. The company’s market value is about $900 million.

On Dec. 12, Serve confirmed deployment of its 2,000th robot. Shares dropped nearly 5% that day, suggesting investors had largely priced in the milestone following earlier contract announcements.

Serve reported third-quarter 2025 revenue of about $0.69 million, more than triple from a year earlier. Fleet services accounted for most of the growth as delivery volumes increased.

Losses widened as the company invested in expansion. Serve posted a net loss of $33 million for the quarter, compared with an $8 million loss a year earlier. Cash burn remained high.

The balance sheet showed more than $210 million in liquidity at quarter end. The company raised an additional $100 million in October.

Serve reaffirmed full-year 2025 revenue above $2.5 million. Management said it expects roughly tenfold revenue growth in 2026.
